Cold and Dark...........

Its cold and dark, a twinkle of stars on the nights sky.

We wait.

We wait for the magic.

I keep things simple, our food simple, the house stands waiting to be dressed.
I burn incense.
I listen to the rooks and crows in the twilight fields.
I want to capture, that look they give you, that all seeing look...........

before the lights sparkle and the dark is forgotten.

My latest embroidery

It is perfect Lynn...
I find the crows and ravens so mystical, magical, like leftovers from a fairytale so long ago.
I hope you are well and enjoying your stitching in the darkness of the evening...

Sorry I haven't been here for a while, life seems to be so hectic at the moment.
Catching up on your lovely blog posts this evening.... Wonderful as always!
The all knowing, clever crows live in the trees around our house and I know exactly what you mean by the way they watch with that black, beady eye....x
Have a lovely festive season Lynn and hope to catch up soon.
