Awwww Liverpool is too far!!! But, how good of you to post this Lynn.. those brooches are too lovely.

I have her book.. and am fascinated by how cute and incredibly individual looking she is, with her little finishing touches on her clothes. She's like a little textile pixie :)

I was lucky enough to attend a 2 day Julie Arkell workshop a couple of years ago, in Stroud, Glos - part of the international textiles festival.
She is really lovely and it was so
special! Like a holiday really.

Lucky you lynn - Julie has produced some wonderful pieces - I have lots of photo cards of her work but sadly no actual pieces.
I love also the Bluecoat Display centre.
Have a lovely day.

Hi Lynn, I apologise if you have more than one comment from me. I was having a few difficulties earlier. Thankyou for your visit and for your comments. I know what you mean about the empty room, it's perfect! Have a great weekend, love Linda x

Hi Lynn,

These brooches look really nice! A pity the workshop is in the UK. I wanted to let you know that I have not received your angel yet. I bought some seeds from the UK at the beginning of December, they only came in today :-)!

Happy weekend & thank you for your well wishes. Feeling a bit stronger every day!

Lieve groet,

Madelief x

Wish I could attend this inspirational workshop - its just the travel costs that are keeping me away! I'm a mere 16000 km south east of Liverpool.
Have fun.
