Woodland magic...............

It is easy to sit and to draw, it doesn't hurt my arm.... I made the above drawings and painting sat quietly in the wood near my home, to pull the forest around you, a mantle of leaves, with a mossy bough for your feet.  I sit and listen to the rustle of drying leaves and golden grasses...She comes then fleeting and light..... feral and wild ...she is my forgotten voice and I want to run through the forest with her..but she is too fast and not of this world...so I draw her instead and when I look down there is a feather from her hair in my lap...............
with love...................

Oh Lynn I am so sorry that you have hurt your arm, your drawings are lovely. We went to Hebden the other day and Mister Finch sells his beautiful insects and birds there. I was amazed at how big they were....I have my eye on a magpie and a hare for christmas.....hope you feel better soon...H

Your paintings are like a fairytale, beautiful!

It goes pretty good at work, we´ve got lots to do and i Like my co workers. I only work evenings starting at 16.00, sewing ´til midnight. Four days a week, we need to do some overtime to be able to sew everything. It´s not easy finding seamstresses these days. I never thought I´d be sewing again as a profession. Even if it´s industrial, I don´t mind. I think it´s fun sewing interior details, I´ve never been interested enough of sewing clothes. I´m not talented enough ha

What beautiful enchanting drawings Lynn, I was never any good at drawing from my imagination, or faces for that matter! Is 'the woodland' going to be a new theme in your work? It definitely felt Septemberish down at Portscatho today, with a brisk east wind blowing off the sea......

I love your paintings Lynne, they are charming and magical. I do hope you are beginning to feel a little better. It is good that you can paint without pain. Perhaps you will delight us with some more? Thankyou so much for visiting me. Have a lovely weekend, love Linda x As a matter of interest, do you know if Samlesbury Hall is still open as an Antique Centre and restaurant? I used to love going there.)
