If you are able to go  Manchester Metropolitan University  has their Graduate shows on now...they are so fresh and new..and talented.  I spent all day there yesterday just soaking in the work and talking to the students.... who when you think about it, are our future.... our world will be the world that they make, that they create with their ideas and their hands, they are at the beginning of everything and I find their enthusiasm intoxicating and exciting... a web of wonder  that the young believe in  ........here is just a tiny taster of their work......

Just so amazing and beautiful..........................
Love Lynn xxxx

Congratulations Lynne on winning Cathy's lovely giveaway. Thankyou too for reminding us to look at the work of art students and fashion students, it can be so invigorating, although the first picture makes me think of Ireland in the time of the potato famine, just the style of the clothes and the hair. Love Linda x

Love the post.
I taught textiles and was always so impressed by so much of the creativity the my students showed.
We dyed all out fabrics and threads and I tried to push them to break rules once they knew the ' right way"
Skills are SO needed to be passed on because if not they're lost forever.
Lucky you with you gifts - I so want one of those charms.
What is the magazine that you won ?
Love to you.
Diane.
