Time to share some fabulous ideas....................

I have just settled down to this months Jeanne d'Arc Living January's issue book/magazine; it is so full of inspiration.  I'm thrilled and had to share ..... the articles are for creating not only a Sewing Room but a Home Office too, plus loads of dazzling original  ideas and photographs to study, utilise  and save for later.

There's also a gorgeous French style kitchen, and lots of ways to use all kinds of vintage items in more contemporary settings, and clever ways. You can get this fabulous book from Camel and Yak...just the thing for this weather, so sit in a comfy chair with a cup of hot chocolate, scrummy cake , warm fire and 30 minutes to yourself......
This January treat is available from Camel and Yak xxxxxxxx

I don't know about other issues, Lynn, but the color palette of this particular issue seems to be just MADE for you. Very calming. These soothing greys and pale pinks are lovely to look at on a chilly day.

Hi Lynn,

Thanks so much for your comments and for looking at my blog since I haven't been updating too much lately!

Isn't it funny how everyone else's house always looks more interesting? That's why I love the British editions of home magazines so much because the British houses are always more intriguing and "homey" to me. This Jeanne d'Arc magazine looks fabulous. I have never seen it sold here in the states but I will be on the lookout for it.

We have contractors to do a lot of the work but I am doing all the finish work. It is slow going but very rewarding as I scratch finished jobs off my list. Can't wait to post some proper "after" photos.

Happy New Year and stay warm! Love Loribeth

Dear Lynn,

it was long since the last time, hope you had a good start to the new year! And did you get the Christmas card I sent you? Have not heard from you, but expect that it arrived on time. It was quite a while since I visited you, time went faster after Christmas than I had imagined also. Soon the end of January, and I have started counting the weeks until Spring. It will utterly wonderful to enjoy the spring again!

The last issue of Jeanne d `Arc Living was filled with so many good ideas, you are so right! And I'm probably almost as enthusiastic as you. The sewing room was also fantastic. However, Myself can not have it as neat and styled, I use too much fabric and stuff to have it too nice, haha:)) But the ideas were good and the pictures were beautiful.

So how are you? I think I must send you an email soon, I need to answer you on the last one too ..

Have the most beautiful day my friend, big hug

Aina
