Christmas Embroiderys

Thank you, so much for all of your comments last week, you really cheered me up with your kind words of support xxx
I was so lost without the computer....and jam supplies were being threatened! fortunately wonderful husband Adrian came to the rescue and has patched me together xxxx for the moment ..
However gifted with lots of free evenings I have managed to have fun sewing, the above pictures are small snippets of what I have been up to...Top Shop have a fashion theme going called the Ice Princess.. I loved the sound of it so I am using fur and sequins and faded old silk glittery net and images from what I would imagine an Ice Princess would have lying around her cold and beautiful palace, I shall show you some more glistening, twinkly  bits later in the week.
I have booked for the Christmas Country Living Fair in Glasgow next month I thought it would make a lovely change from London, hope I bump into some of you there.  There are bound to be lots of wonderful Christmas ideas to share let me know if you are going xxxxx

Dear Lynn
I'd love to go and to see you there - but alas it is much too far away from my home!!
Your creations are truly beautiful and very much worthy of an Ice Princess. What an evocative theme that is! I adore all that kind of thing - having been fascinated by the story of the Snow Queen since I was a young child sharing the tale from a compendium of stories with my Sister reading it out loud to me. It is all so magical isn't it? The Snow / Ice Queen / Princess idea, I mean! Lovely. Thank you for showing your creations. And I am still hoping you'll have a Sea Angels sale again one day - hint! hint!

So wee lass you're off to my ancestral homeland for the Country Living Fair are you... how wonderful. I have just read the October issue(as it is slightly delayed coming across the sea)and imagined how great it would be to attend.
I adore your Ice Princess creation with its gossamer threads.

How wonderful! The top image is so beautiful, I'd love to see the whole piece.
CL in Glasgow sounds fun. I often go to the London one just for 24 hours in the UK. It's my treat!

The things you are making a very nice and very Christmasy indeed! Such detail... I think they will be more 'Ice Pricess' style than the ones at Top Shop!

I've never been to a Country Living Fair, but would love to visit it sometime. Well, it will have to be a special trip, probably only next year.

Oh Lynn, I lucked upon finding you & fell head over heels with this post!!!! I can't wait to see what you have planned for this. I ADORE Reindeer. My hubby promised to buy me a pair when we were in Alaska at a Reindeer Farm... haven't seen them yet. Somehow, I can't see them in Texas can you? But, I LOVE THEM. You have inspired me & I think I might start working on something similar for myself for the Holidays. So much prettier than bright RED & GREEN! THANKS! Charlene
