Sacred Space.....

Walking within the fells of the beautiful lake district feels sacred...the shadows of late summer are cooler, and the crows are gathering, the swallows have flown, and the hips grow rosy against the purple sloes in the thorny hedgerows.
It is but a moments breath until the Autumn colours descend and the equinox is here. But for this last moment we saver the goodbye to summer as the last twinkly rays filter across the lake.
May you find your own special sacred space this week xx

How beautiful Lynn.....such a lovely place.
We have just come back from the beautiful warmth of Tuscany and I can certainly feel an Autumnal chill in the air. There are so many berries on our Sorbus tree. I don't mind though. I love the Autumn. I love all of the seasons as they all have their merits.
Enjoy the end of the Summer, Lynn with those that you love. XXXX

I'm so jealous... I've been to the Lake District once and have the greatest memories. You are so lucky you got a chance to go for a long walk and take in the spectacular views. I agree, it is a sacred place and I'm wishing to go back there some day.

Hope you will have a nice autumn with many more sunny days for special strolls.

Aha... I see what you've been up to in your summer break, can you remember what I meant, when I said, "It's green & bumpy?"
Ooo... Just L-O-V-E-R-L-Y..... :o)

How wonderful the landscape is over there, so different from ours! This is a start of a lovely season, all the colors and still some warmth in the air..
Did you know that having several kittens is science?! I feel like when my boys were babies, quite tired and smelling both kittymilk and...poo-poo. Four of the kittens have had "nervous" tummies the whole weekend, you can imagine the mess. I´ve been helping their mom washing them and now they are getting some medicine, it looks like it is starting to help :-) One of the girls I´m feeding with extra milk, she always is without a tittie when they are about to eat. She has gained weight and is the first one tasting real food :-)
We really have to watch out where to walk, the kittens are walking longer outside their nest each time..they fit in two hands now, tiny little furballs. Taking pics is not the easiest thing..
I wish I could keep them all.
Have a lovely week dear friend!

Hugs Anne

yes, anywhere one stops to hear the sounds of nature- the birds singing and insects buzzing, the sunlight filtering through the leaves- in the silent moments- is sacred.
