Food for thought...........

I am troubled by the following.....
  •  Why does it take a huge amount of eggs, butter, and lemons to make only 2 jars of lemon Curd?
  •  Why do I have to bribe my husband with assorted home cooked cakes just to get him to put a new shelf up for me?
  •  Why do all the recipes in this fabulous book of Harry Eastwood taste of heaven and have no calories?
  • Why is the weather so very very cold?
yes as you can see, I have not moved from the kitchen all weekend I am exhausted and I have loved every minute of it. Have a lovely week
Big Hugs Lynn xxxx

Hello Lovely Lynn
How calm and peaceful your kitchen/dining room looks :-)
I do adore homemade lemon curd - and yes, it is such a lot of eggs, but treats can be naughty sometimes, can't they?
Your cookery book sounds amazing - the calorie free part of it that is!
I spy some gorgeous textile work of yours on the chair back... hmmmm, I wonder when you might have another of your sales on the blog? Advance warning needed please!
Yes it is soooooo cold - as we sat in a cafe in Wells this afternoon I realised I was wearing 4 layers of clothes, not including my coat - when oh when, will the sun warm our bodies I wonder?
I hope you have another happy week ahead,
Denise x

Your kitchen is so pretty and I love that towel with the owl embroidered on it.

A kitchen like that. A book like that to create from. It isn't surprising that you would spend days at a time never leaving the kitchen and loving every minute of it.

Yes the dress looks SO divine, but I am not very good att sewing, and my sewing machine and I aren´t the best friends at the moment...

I enjoy life more since after my move, but I would prefer to live in a small house with a garden...but maybe someday I will...I hope!
