Time to share.........an April Issue

I have been in love for a few months now....big sigh...yes with a magazine in English called 'Jeane d'Arc Living' well!  it is more than a magazine it is like a wonderful interiors book, printed with gorgeous paper  and so very very pretty, lots of vintage, lots of white, lots of Swedish , Danish and French stuff.  I pour over the pages, take it on the train with me, carry it around until I am exhausted with the dreaming and planning and turning the pages endlessly..... only then can I put it down.  Until a month ago I was buying it from Europe tres tres expensive but now Camel and Yak  sell this in the UK,  it is really lovely.  Hope I've not bored you all with my discovery....   ooh and have you tried' I am not left handed' the music at the top of my page. I was playing this during my lunch hour and just had to have a little  dance, and I was having  a real good time jigging and twirling about in our empty staff room when I noticed a whole group of students watching.....from the floor above, so I just waved and now they think I'm madder than ever ha ha..Lots of hugs Lynn xxxxx

What magic - and to be directed to a shop in a town where I was taken as a child by my grandmother in the early 1940s. Guess it is so different now. And I have to tell you a guilty secret: I collect magazines like the one you show, and drool over the photos, cu them out and make them into rooms within paper houses. I don't suppose it is really stealing, if I never reveal them and keep them hidden in a workroom drawer.

I love that story of you dances and everyone watching...sounds just like something I'd do.

I have to find this mag..everyone talks about it, but I have yet to see it. Do you know if they sell it in the U.S?

I've been meaning to buy that magazine. It's pricey but more and more it looks so worth it.

Yes, I agree that magazine is heaven. I carry it around with me too and I read it when I have a few free minutes.

I showed my copy to a few friends and they were literally hyperventilating with excitement. They had never seen an issue so it was understandable. What a great find!

Dear Lynn,
I, too have a subscription with Camel and Yak for Jeanne d'Arc Living although, I haven't received my April issue yet.Must get on the phone if it doesn't come soon !!
Country Living has an article on Rachel Ashwell's house, this month. It's wonderful and know you will love it too. I'm sure that you probably get Country Living, but I just thought that I would tell you !!

I loved the idea of your dancing and being secretly watched! I think the students probably were envious that you held such magic and freedom in your spirit and were able to express it. Great music. I will have to buy it.

Wish I could find this beautiful magazine in the US.

Hope the walk went well - hasn't it been glorious weather without the planes though ...
I may bear the mag in mind for Christmas - you do have good taste so it's just my purse contents that would prevent me from buying it at the moment.

Good evening Lynn!

I am so glad that you are felling better now. The winter was very long this year. At last life is coming back *smiles*.
I can see you dance there. It could me me also doing something like that;)

This magazine is really a lovely one. And as you say the paper is so nice. It is almost like an interiorbook. What a luck you can get it i England now! As you have seen this Danish/French style has been very popular i Sweden and Norway for a while now. It is so popular so the Danes comes looking to Swedish homes for inspiration *smiles*.

I wish you a lovely spring! Full of inspiration and love!

Many hugs from Sweden!

Karin
