Sometimes I want to fly.....................

The wind and the rain lashed across the woods today, peeling the leaves and bright berry's from the bushes, and blowing into my arms as if it would lift me above the trees....how I wish I could soar right into the wind, swooping over the park, diving low over the river, spinning and turning in the chaotic fury of it all.
Wrapping up my dreams I tucked them close to my heart in my warm coat, and carefully spun them into my cooking this afternoon...that will spice meal time up I thought.
Have a lovely Sunday
Love and hugs xxxxx

Beautiful images and imagery, dear Lynn! We, too, have had a bright and crispy cool autumn day. After an exceptionally warm September it feels heavenly fresh! I'm a fall person myself and in addition to walks in those golden and ruby red woods it's fab to curl up with a nice cuppa and Vakre Hjem ;-)

Armloads of warm regards, Marja

I must say that even though I live in real countryside now,my instincts when I think 'Autumn leaves' are probably to imagine that very avenue of trees in 'town.'
Thank you for reminding me.

Hello Lynn
The glow from your candles is so warm and inviting, it makes me want to curl up with a blanket and slowly eat my way through your potato pie!
Wouldn't it be wonderful to drift on the thermals like a bird?
I hope you have settled back into home routines, have a happy week,

Lovely post and lovely paiting!

I wish our autumn would be a bit nicer... at the moment we are having a hail storm and the wind is too stong - it's bending the trees down and the harbour is closed! I've heard that they've had their first snow in Scandinavia...

Well, your first photo looked a bit Christmasy :) it looks very warm, colourful and as if we should be waiting for some kind of wonder. Perfect atmosphere!

You just don’t know how much I wanted to do that but the fact that humans can’t fly without flying gadgets. I just dream about it. But tasting delicious food makes me feel like flying. That’s why I love eating good delicious food. It gives me the chance to feel like floating, at least. LOL!
