This week has been strange......the heat has changed so much, water has become warm like air, and the air is heavy and liquid with fragrances, of orange blossom, and rich wet earth, the days slide seamless into the shadows of evening, and the swallows swoop endlessly over the shimmering fields. I feel as if a gift has been given...a hopefulness..... a joy....not tangable, it cannot be held, yet it swirls around my head........ half in air half in water...a mystery...a treasure.

Maybe i have said it so many times before that you are bored with it BUT i have to say it again:
your posts are like treasures for me. For me it is important in life to sourround myself and seek people that inspire me and also that they are honest hearted- you are one of them! I love the way you wrote this post, made me feel grateful too :) The words almost made me dreamy because they were so beautiful...
Today i think i am going to try to make a little cushion to have in the sofa of some old cotton fabric i have, i like to redesign. Me and the sewing machine are NOT a great match.....must addmit it is my lack of patience that is the main reason...It is strange that when you really want to do something that the patience doesn,t follw...ha-ha...woulden't that bee nice :)
Can't wait until the package from you comes in the mailbox, looking so forward to it that i feel almost like a little girl :)

Yes, the summer days are here. A firefly followed me home last night. I was amazed to return from a walk to find that it was almost 9:30 in the evening. It was still light outside!

We´re having really hot weather here, drinking lots of water and losing some grams of weigth ha ha..
Our cat had her first baby yesterday, the cutest little thing...we´re off tho the veterinary later this day to check her up if she´s having more in her belly..

Hi there Lynnston! These images are truly engaging. I fell silent for several minutes.
How are you? I'm OK, kind of unable to really leave the house because of the torn meniscus and pain thereof but we DID manage to vacation in Greece for a week! I was on crutches and had to be hauled down from the plane with an airport ambulift but otherwise everything was good and sunny :-)
