Second Advent..the coming of the dawn...

Had I the heavens embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and half light
I would spread the cloths under your feet
W.B.YEATS.....

I wanted to light my second candle under the fading stars of night, I wanted it touched by the rising sun, to sparkle like two brilliant jewels amongst the glory of the frosty land that I love so very much.
Have a peaceful and joyous week
Hugs Lynn xx

Oh gosh Lynn, how beautiful is this post! It just reminds me of how far away you are - a couple of our sons spent yesterday waxing their surfboards reading for Christmas at the beach!!

Your Advent reflections are so important as we hurry to get everything done over the next 2 weeks. Thank you my friend.

Hello Lynn...that first photo spoke to me...reminds me of when we lived on small acres not so long ago..the fence and posts with the grass underneath, the paddock, the gentle road next to it all. Just the same...I keep coming back to look at it. Thank you for beautiful images...I love to hear when somebody loves the land...it is so grounding...And to light a candle...oh so very very special...peace to you dear Lynn...Dzintra

Are yes, I’m familiar with the haggard look… especially with the run up to Christmas in hairdressing!! Feel more like a councillor than a hairdresser…!
The fair went well, thank you, though you’d be best to ask James (my hubby) as he did all the setting up & selling… love him…..

How incredibly beautiful, Lynn... Just the right peaceful setting. So serene and lovely. As long as you are warm (I don't think the darling little tea lights would put out enough heat to take the chill away?!)
Just beautiful, Lynn!
