A magical day, of old values, warmth, and hands of friendship.....

Nicky makes the most gorgeous soft toys, they are very polite, but they really like cake!!!

Carol had the most beautifully made hearts, and such pretty Gingham Heart cards, lots of lovely hand made pretties

Frances had the most wonderful vintage look, with such pretty vintage Dolly's......
What a wonderful day, (please click on the link 'Vintage Fair' to see all the amazing bloggers that were selling at the fayre). I have just shown a tiny peek of my neighbours beautiful tables, not really doing them justice!! There were so many more stunning tables!!
I must thank Frances for her large (so very useful, saved the day) brown bags...and the fact that she has as many crazy ideas as me!!! and a lovely daughter in law......
and also Carol for being one of the nicest stylish friendliest ladies I could ever wish to meet, plus her lovely family.
In all honesty every person there had a table full of the most wonderful finds, exciting new ideas, different gorgeous items...... you could never, never reproduce the atmosphere, friendship and excitement in the photographs that existed in the hall yesterday.
I want to say a thankyou a BIG thankyou to the wonderful people I met, the customers who said such nice things it made me teary, and so yet so happy. It was a day full of real values, real talent, and real friendship. A day that would never of happened for me without the support of my whole family, and my beloved daughter and wonderful husband.
May we all be blessed with a peaceful and restful week.
Love Lynn xxxxx

Once again I'm at a loss for words, dear friend. Your talent and creativity and skill is nothing short of astonishing. If only I could have traveled over there to see the marvelous goodies for myself *sigh*

Months of hard work paid off, I'm sure. C'est vraiement magnifique!

I especially fell for the little rose, that was a stoke of genius, no less! Come the holidays, my home may display a few of those à la humble yours truly ;-)

Take care!

Hi Lynn,

Everything was so lovely.
I especially love the roses. I have made some with silk and paper but not just paper and embellished them with bits of poetry on the petals and of course glitter. Glad you had a wonderful time and thanks for sharing.

Hugs Annabelle

Oh Lynn, thank you, thank you, thank for all your lovely messages!!!
I felt so incredible awful knowing that I didn`t had time to respond earlier.
I have missed out so much. Your beautiful walk in the park, you work.
You looked so cute sitting in the middle of a pile of leafs!!! :))
Wish I had been there experiencing it all with you. Didn`t you feel like a child again? hihi..
We have been wandering in the park today too, and my cheeks are still burning. It was so cold, -7!
And congratulation with participating on this fayre. All this beautiness together, what a joy! Every little thing looks perfect there, waiting to find a new loving home. You are so very special to me Lynn, offering me to buy candles for the clips. I remember saying: "She is the sweetest". :)) I did find candles that fitted and I am looking forward to use them during this Christmas.

You`re right, my fingertips are sore, and I am glad that I have a couple of days to rest now. But I am grateful for beeing able to work with what I love, I am shure you know what I mean.

Have a wonderful week friend, see you really soon!
Warm hug,

Hi Lynn, I just tried to leave a comment on your blog, but Blogger informed me that there was an error, so not sure if you will have received it or not (so here it is again!)
I just wanted to say that I was sorry to have missed the fair yesterday. Sue (Vintage to Victorian) rang me several times during the day, trying to relay to me the exquisiteness of your work! I know that I would have loved your stand and all the beauties upon it. It is such a shame that you won’t be at the next one, as I have booked a stand at the May one…
You are a true artist and I love the uniqueness of your work. It has a serene and delicacy to it that I so admire…It’s wonderful to see someone forging their own style with such confidence and not jumping on the latest band-wagon – congratulations on your artistry!
Take care and have a long rest after all that hard work – I fully appreciate the effort involved in producing handmade treasures.
My best wishes,

Hello Lynn! I am so happy to see so many wonderful pictures of your things (and your friends' work too) from the Vintage Fair.... How beautiful! I would try to choose a favorite item from the photos, and comment about it, but there are too many lovely creations and not enough words in English to describe the details, artistic eye and love that clearly went into each one... Your work is so beautiful! I hope your day was as enchanting as it looked, and that you and your friends had great sales and great fun!

That was a lot of hard work I´m sure (or I know!). Think what blogging can lead to: meeting lots of new creative friends and coming up with a such great idea of a vintage fair! I´m amazed. How about an international fair? (haha!) You´re probably too exhausted by now to even think about creating anything, so take a good rest now so You will be fit for christmas

Hi Kynn, that sounds interesting.
I am on the laptop and in bed at the moment so cannot email you. I will tomorrow from my pc. I have boiled Nige's brown cable jumper ready for my bag and I have black velvet ready to go, just need instructions again as I cannot remember what you told me fully!
I have made a crochet corsage and boiled that too, it just went baggy and it still looks quite good. I have sewn a black and dusky pink one on my black hat, not boiled - will post oneday - you have given me such a bug now, I just want to be left alone so I can get on with it all.
I guess you are just enjoying a rest from it all.
Take care,
Carol xxx

Hi Lynn,

You are a new discovery for me and I'm so glad I've found you right at the beginning if the year. I love your blog, your work, the music and I LOVE the snowflakes. Oh yes, I'm very envious of the fact you've got snow!
Have you any of the little velvet cupcake decorations for sale? I spied one on Catherine from Mollycupcakes tree and she bought it from you at the fair. Alas, I was not able to attend. I'm very pleased to have a stall at the next one but I see you're not which is a shame for me . . .
