Some pictures from home..........

Some days are made for dreaming, for sitting in the half light, listening to the rain patter on the windows, and chatting with my family. I like it when my (grown up ) daughter curls up next to me, with wet just shampooed hair, and cold feet, and shares her chocolate...and the sound of the radio with sunday afternoon cricket, everything is so peaceful....just for this moment....
May you all be blessed with moments like this, some time this week....
Hugs Lynn xx

So lovely your home is. And yes, all moments, we have to save them in our heart...
The little house you asked about isn't ours. It's like a museum, the house and garden is an open place to vist.
Have a lovely week!

What a beautiful post Lynn. The photos are really beautiful, I love your kitchen. I am just about to have one of those moments right now, my eldest daughter is fresh out of the bath and will be joining me for a cuddle on the sofa and a bar or two of chocolate, oh the smell of freshly washed hair. I hope you continue to have days like these

Oh sure, Lynn, we'll be right over :-D

On a more serious note, thank you for this lovely post. Not only was the sentiment utterly delightful, but the pictures took my breath away as well. What an exquisite French-English vintage look you've got going on, absolutely heavenly! In spite of any rain, the colors are very Provence; heatwaves and orchards.

Take care, dearest friend!

Good Morning Lynn
Your kitchen brings a smile to my face. I can imagine you in there making a very elegant meal or just making toast and tea. Your little chippy cupboard sitting on the counter and the pink roses on the fabric that hangs under the sink gives that hint of romance that I love. This kitchen says I love my home to me.
How nice to that your precious girl still loves to cuddle with her Mum. Enjoy every moment of these very special times. Hugs Maggie

Hi Lynn - I've dropped in here three times this week, so far and just realized I never commented on this post.

I love the idea of daydreaming but being a daydreamer crippled me for a long time because I thought it was a negative thing. Then I figured out how wrong I was and ended up changing my blog.

Today, daydreaming actually makes me more productive and so much happier.

I look forward to seeing what you do with that little cabinet.

All my best,
Annie

Hi Lynn, your kitchen looks wonderful. I would like to change the colour scheme in our kitchen, but my cook would not approve. When it comes to the kitchen, he is the boss as he does all the cooking in our household :-)

Cheers,

Dearest, dearest Lynn! I don't believe I can thank you enough for all of your kind, encouraging words, all the support you've given me (through thick and thin), and all of the laughs as well.

You kick some serious butt as a friend :-)

I've been away for a bit but upon my return I find much to my delight a few changes at Lynn's home.
A new header reflecting the gentleness of the soul behind it.
The words are still soft and comforting and the photos make the visit complete.
And moments shared with grownup daughters allow us to reflect on a life well spent!
Hope all is well across the sea.

Lynn, may I borrow your daughter for a little while! With 5 sons, I didn't quite get to experience those really special 'girly' moments - but maybe one day, these 5 lovely young men will give me some grand-daughters & I'll be one very happy Grannie.
