Ok I'm starting to make again...........

I am giving you a preveiw of some items I am sending to my lovely friend Marja (home from the heart) I don't think she will mind, I have printed and embroidered some Maddona cushions and sachets for her, in return for a lovely item swop we shared a while ago......they are on their way Marja (honest x). I will also be making some for my christmas fair as well.
I have also started to paint and decorate this gorgeous small cupboard to sell at the Christmas Fair, I will be lining it with old love letters (not mine ha!) and painting it, now girls what do you think.........French Grey...or creamy white........I will await your helpful decisions before I act!!.

Lammas has come already, the corn is being cut, and have you noticed the Rowan berries are red, and the blackberrys are ripening. The wheel of the year moves silently and quickly, don't waste a minute of it, for the light will be gone, and the summer faded to Autumn. Dance in the sunshine when you see it my friends, and weave love with flowers into your daughters hair.
May we all be blessed with a good week.
Hugs Lynn xx

What beautiful cushions Lynn, they are really lovely. You are so very talented. I think the cabinet should be grey (but don't listen to me!). It is indeed a time for weaving flowers in my daughters' hair and enjoying the laziness of not having a routine

I think creamy white would be lovely. How lucky your friend is to receive such a wonderful handmade gift from you. I really like how you wrote your last paragraph. It's very enchanting, as well as, enlightening. Also, thank you for your comment on my blog.

Dear, dear Lynn - it's utterly lovely to hear that you're back in business! Rock n roll, my lovely friend!

As for the supersuper divine cupboard; I'd say French grey. But that's just because up here all-white seems to be a passing trend and grey, black and brown wood are probably slowly taking over.

Miss ya, luv ya, hug ya!

The pillows are beautiful!
Grey I think, the season for which it is intended has a changing in the light reflection as well. The cupboard will absorb the lighting, be more subdued enhancing a feeling of comfort and cocooning. The neutral colour will not distract from other shades of the season.
Which ever you choose I know it will be lovely.

Lynn: Your work is just exquisite and so comforting to the soul! I love the Madonna cushions - just beautiful. I also love the idea of using old love letters inside the cabinet you are about to work on - how lovely. I have an old secretary I am about to begin refinishing and that sounds like a fun idea or something similar - thanks for sharing.
I have seen the image on your pillow before and I just adore it - can you tell me where I might find it to download/purchase?
Visiting your blog is refreshing and provides a air of whimsy and relaxation - thank you!

Creamy white for the cabinet definitely and what a lovely idea to line it with love letters.

I love this time of year, when all is coming to fruition; my tomatoes are starting to ripen and I find I glance at them often in anticipation lol!
