Long Days

How nice it is to just sit, to pick up a book and read, to look out of a window and really breath in the spring sunshine and smell the lilac blossom on the breeze.
I am a technician at university, and the past few weeks have been so very busy leading up to the final project. This was finished on Friday, with sleepless nights and many tears showing on the students faces. It is the most stressful and exciting time for them, and will soon be over. So I am enjoying the peace, just for this moment, in my own small space.
Hugs Lynn xx

Your own small space is beautiful. I love everything about it. I was trying really hard to see what book you have on the table. Whenever I see someone with a book I always try to peek at the title. Right now I'm reading A Thousand Splendid Suns and really enjoying it. I'm so happy I stopped by tonight for a dose of Sea Angel beauty. Hugs Maggie

Your spot is so comforting and embracing. It reminded me of my daydream from this morning of wishing I was at the beach, perched on a rock - reading, breathing deeply, and listening to the music of the waves. I too work at a university and we are in finals now. So much tension. So many nerves. And, not a few tears. I know you will enjoy the quiet of the summer just as I will.

Hi Lynn

Hope your having a relaxing holiday after all the hard work over the summer. I start my course on monday and i am getting nervous now. I find myself doubting myself all the time.... Do you think this is normal!!!!!!
I just wish i had friends around me whilst i am there. Getting scared that i won't be able to cope with all the theory based work. Sometimes i feel very tempted to not go but i no that is the easy way out. All that keeps me going is your little voice in my head encouraging me.

I miss our little chats they are inspirational to me.
I find myself visiting your blog on a regular base to listen to your music which is very soothing and peaceful. I love looking at the new things your making and i hope all is going well towards the summer fair.

Love lots
