Up the stairs and out.......

Now the light has returned, my evenings will be filled with birdsong and the quicksilver flash of mermaids in the river. There is nothing but peace, and the touch of the Goddess over the land.

Here are a few captured moments of what I see when I am running......I go up the old worn wooden steps from my kitchen, through the front door and out.............. these are pictures of my home town, just waking up on Sunday morning, to the smells of fresh coffee and buttered toast.

I hope my dear friends that the returning of the light brings you brightness and joy, and some more family hours to laugh in.
Hugs Lynn xx

You don't know how much I love these pictures. I was just putting myself into them and wishing myself to your beautiful England. You have an artist's eye in everything you do! Even pictures of your home. I can see how much you love it by the pictures you take.

Oh how beautiful. I'm fond of the rowhouses, all connected together yet as individual as you and I behind each door.
And do you catch the splash of a mermaid as you meander along the path clinging to the sea? 'Tis good luck to greet her so say hello for me!
Thanks so much for sharing this fragment of your day.

Oh Lynn, thank you for sharing your sights! What absolute beautiful scenery, must be a true pleasure to run through such peaceful surroundings. And I'm sooooo envious of the fact that it looks like SPRING over there. We've got loads of dirty snow left and it's grey and depressing everywehere right about now. :-(((((

Anyhoo, have a fab week! Miss ya!

Lyn your images almost inspire me to jog along w/ you!
Sunday mornings either walking or running early is such a peacefull time with very few car engines to ruin the calm and peace and quiet in the air. I think I'll get out and walk after seeing this post!

Beautiful light and scenery, beautiful words too. I wish i had such a lovely neighbourhood to help me be as couragous as you are by running. Yes the surrounding, the mermaids and the nice weather helps a lot...and I don't have those for the moment...
Whereas you love the French touch, i'm just fascinated by the British one. Your house is just the perfect one: love the hallway, its curtains, the chandelier, the sign door and the green door knob...I could really see myself definitively live there. I wish I could. Thank you for sharing these moments with us
Hugs for you and the little mermaid

Oh Lynn! Beautiful pictures as always. If I'd meet such a bench when I'm running, I think I wouldn't run any more. May be that if I had a house like yours I wouldn't go out anymore!
Have a sunny day! hugs. Anne.
