At last!! it's finished and.......he loves it ......

YES........more or less finished, please forgive all my photographs, but I am so relieved that I have finished this HUGE project (Istill have two more chairs to paint and recover) and I wanted you to see my progress.
I painted the table and chairs and chest of drawers, in various shades of grey/white in Farrow and Ball colours, so they look as if they had been bought at different times, more random, I hope it looks that way. I have screen printed the seats and table cloth with my own drawn images, in very pale shades of turqoise, grey and brown, on vintage french hemp.
But the best news is that Adrian loves it....what a relief, so next time I bring a project home, I wonder what sort of reception I will get?.....You have got to love them though xxxxx, and thanks so much for all your support my friendsxxxx.

Wonderful Job!!! I am so proud of you. I refinished a table and chairs once when we were first married, so I know what a huge project that is - and it feels so nice and big and substantial, doesn't it. It is really beaming now, those chairs and table. Good work!!!

I think everyone has said it, but you have done a marvellous job:)
Did you use eggshell or emulsion?

Thankyou again for all your positive comments, it's so wonderful to read them, and it has given me a real lift, just when I needed it the most xxxx

Hi Lynn I used oil eggshell, only because I thought it may have to stand up to a lot in the kitchen

Oh dear! You make me blush! I´m happy if I´ve managed to inspire you just little...it´s you that did the hard work painting the furniture! I appreciate your comments so much..:-) The door is mine to keep, just so you know it! It´s the door to the cupcoard I found earlier in autumn. 2day we have a little frost on the ground = more yulelike at the moment :-)

Wishing you a joyful day!

Hello dear friend! Stopping by to wish you a wonderful weekend! The time seems to have wings, flying by so quickly. My computer is still weird, better but slow. My hubby is not well and I´ve been working late this week...in fact I´m off to work for some more hours before I can start to celebrate the weekend with late dinner and a relaxing sauna...

Take care and enjoy the moment!

lots of hugs/ Anne
