Trials of cooking.....

I do try, truly I do..... my merangues are so huge it will take a week to get my blood sugars back to normal after one of these, and my little lemon drizzle hearts are not even heart shaped. I cook on an Aga it's great for everything but I find cakes a real challenge, if anyone has any tips, please take sympathy on me and hand them over.....quickly xxxxx

I don't think it matters how the cakes turn out as long as they taste good:)

Mary Berry is known as the Queen of cakes and also has written a number of books on aga cooking - I would have a look inside her aga cookbooks and see what she recommends....
